Georgetown University's Urban & Regional Planning Program and the DC BID Council would like to invite you to a discussion on the evolution of place management in the DC region. Every day, nearly 75 dedicated place management organizations across the region work to sustain and advance specially designated urban places in a manner which is responsive to and inclusive of stakeholders. Over two decades, local communities, government agencies and others have embraced the work organizations undertake. Building on previous research at Georgetown University, this event elevates and critically examines the practices that place management professionals across the DMV are innovating every day.
